 For 50 years, Michel Rolland has been assisting winegrowers from the left and right banks of the Bordeaux region as well as supporting vineyards in Europe, the United States and the Southern Hemisphere. Working hand in hand with three oenologists who have become his partners, they continue to write the story of Laboratoire Rolland & Associés, together. 

We use our expertise as oenologists to bring out the best in terroirs around the world.

Château Destieux 2020 is a blend of 66% rich Merlot, marked with notes of black fruits and 34% Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon bringing texture, spices and floral notes. The palate is remarkably well balanced in texture; concentration and length are there. The tannins slowly soften in the barrel.
2020 is a vintage that follows on from 2018 and 2019. It is attractive and delicious.

Le Château Destieux 2020 est un assemblage de 66% de merlots riches, marqués des notes de fruits noirs et de 34% de Cabernets Franc et Sauvignon apportant de la mâche, des épices et des notes florales. La bouche est d’une texture remarquablement bien équilibrée ; la concentration et la longueur sont au rendez-vous. Les tannins se patinent tranquillement en barrique. 
2020 est un millésime qui s’inscrit dans la continuité des millésimes 2018 et 2019. 
Il est séduisant et gourmand!!!

2020 is a vintage of weather contrasts (up to 26&deg;C range of temperatures between cool summer nights and very hot days) and weather needs (a nearly 2 months summer period without rain). Thanks to the great clay terroirs of Pomerol, the vine has converted this pressures in complexity and aromatic richness. The wine of Ch&acirc;teau La Fleur de Gay is at each vintage the blend of three the greatest terroirs of the high terrace (The plot of La Fleur, between P&eacute;trus and LaFleur P&eacute;trus ; the Gay parcel, adjacent to Ch&acirc;teau LaFleur and the parcel of Groupey close to Ch&acirc;teaux Trotanoy and Le Pin.). In 2020 we continue the philosophy of gentle extraction refined since the previous vintage with our consultant Axel MARCHAL. The ageing will transcend and increase complexity of the body and fruity aromas of this wine of exceptionnal origin.

2020 est un mill&eacute;sime de contrastes (jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; 26&deg;C d&rsquo;amplitude thermique entre des nuits estivales fraiches et des journ&eacute;es tr&egrave;s chaudes) et d&rsquo;exigences m&eacute;t&eacute;orologiques (une p&eacute;riode d&rsquo;&eacute;t&eacute; de presque 2 mois sans pluie). Les grands terroirs argileux de Pomerol ont permis &agrave; la vigne de transformer ces contraintes en complexit&eacute; et richesse aromatique. Le vin du Ch&acirc;teau La Fleur de Gay est &agrave; chaque mill&eacute;sime l&rsquo;assemblage de trois de ces plus grands terroirs de la haute terrasse (la parcelle de La Fleur, enserr&eacute;e entre P&eacute;trus et La Fleur P&eacute;trus ; la parcelle de Gay, voisine du Ch&acirc;teau Lafleur et la parcelle de Groupey, voisine des Ch&acirc;teaux Trotanoy et Le Pin). Nous poursuivons en 2020 la philosophie d&rsquo;extractions douces peaufin&eacute;e depuis le mill&eacute;sime pr&eacute;c&eacute;dant avec notre &oelig;nologue conseil Axel MARCHAL. L&rsquo;&eacute;levage devra transcender et complexifier le corps et les ar&ocirc;mes fruit&eacute;s de ce vin de grande origine.

Château La Fleur de Gay

Mode de culture : Traditionnel, enherbement naturel un rang sur deux en fonction de la vigueur.
Taille : Guyot simple et double.
Vendanges : M&eacute;caniques et manuelles. Du 18 septembre au 03 octobre pour les Merlots et le 04 ocotbre pour les Cabernets francs.
Elevage : 12 mois dont :&nbsp;
- 80% en barrique dont 50% de bois neuf et 50% d'un vin.
- 20% en cuves, amphores, oeuf polym&egrave;re v&eacute;g&eacute;tal et en wine globe.

Château Fayat

Ch&acirc;teau Fayat est un joyau viticole de 14 hectares, situ&eacute; sur la rive droite au nord de Libourne qui a vu le jour en 2009. En un peu plus d&rsquo;une d&eacute;cennie les &eacute;quipes du Ch&acirc;teau Fayat, sous la tutelle du directeur d'exploitation Emeric Bossuet, ont r&eacute;ussi la prouesse d'installer ce cru aux firmaments des ch&acirc;teaux du pomerolais, en conf&eacute;rant &agrave; ce vin l'expression unique d&rsquo;un terroir singulier.

Les vins 2020 sont riche , puissant , dense . Couleur rouge pourpre presque noir , le nez est délicat avec des fruits rouges et une notre boisée vanillé , en bouche les vins sont large et tapisse parfaitement le palais , la finale est longue avec beaucoup de présence mais des tanins soyeux  .
